The dh-golang was a success as far as I can tell. I also prepared a patch for the Go compiler which should take care of the remaining bits. I’ll add to our Go 1.9 package once 1.9 was released. See https://github.com/golang/go/issues/16860 for the corresponding upstream tracking bug.
