Yes, the pristine-tar branch is broken:

 gbp:error: Pristine-tar couldn't checkout
"unarr_0~20150801.d1be8c4.orig.tar.gz": fatal: Path
'unarr_0~20150801.d1be8c4.orig.tar.gz.delta' does not exist in
'refs/heads/pristine-tar'
 pristine-tar: git show
refs/heads/pristine-tar:unarr_0~20150801.d1be8c4.orig.tar.gz.delta failed

The long description for libunarr-dev ends with two '. .' instead of
just '.'. And the package descriptions can be better formatted as:

 <common description>
 .
 <package specific>

See for example:

https://salsa.debian.org/debian-gis-team/geographiclib/blob/master/debian/control

As long as your keeping the newline changes, the upstream tarball should
be marked as such using the +ds suffix, for which mangling needs to be
added to the watch file. But it's better to just drop the newline changes.

Kind Regards,

Bas
