Don't mix stable/testing and experimental.
Use either stable (with or without -backports), or testing, or unstable.
The issue cannot be reproduced with QGIS 2.18.24 from stretch-backports
on stretch, nor on unstable.
Fix your system to not use a mix of distributions.
