Probably I'm missing something, s390x seems to build correctly in
debian-ci.

Building the package on the s390x porterbox also fails due to test
failures.
Might be caused by the recent update of numpy.
I tried to replicate the issue on zelenka.debian.org.
The test indeed fails but the only reason seems to be the lack of disk
space.
After cleaning the /tmp directory I was able to run the rest suite for
both Python 3.10 and 3.11 without problems.
numpy v1.23.5
Sorry I have just realized that the link you provided refers to satpy
0.37.1 while I tested satpy 0.38.0 (currently in sid and testing).
Now that satpy 0.38.0 is in testing pyproj should be able to migrate if
I understand correctly.
