Here the issue is with egg-info files being modified.
I think that it can be fixed with the switch to the github sources, but
we need to wait for the next upstream release to finalize the change.
I Hope it is not a big issue for you having a red dot in CI :)
I do not remember why I used PyPI at the beginning.
Normally I tend to prefer getting sources form github in any case.
