Just curious, any progress or timeline hints for the next upload?  (Are
you packaging 1.8.0?)  I have a some packages I'd like to upload which
use this, and would like to start to port them sooner rather than later.

That is, unless you're planning to just stick with 1.6.x for the lenny
release...
