Hi,
sorry for the late response.

>you can simply make a symbolic link in your web cgi-bin folder to the
mapserv

there is no need to. /www/cgi-bin is linked to the right place. So the
cgi-scripts are working. But the example project is broken,

What I meant is that I would like to have a package that includes the sample
porject. Maybe under the mapserver-doc.
It is just a sugestion.

Check out my server with the package and see how it runs. I would say only
partially. I don't know the reason.
My adress is http://134.2.155.77/

When people install a package like wordpress on debian they already have a
wordpress running. The same would be nice for mapserver. To have a sample
project running with just one apt-get distance.

I think it would be a nice idea.

Oz.
