there is no need to. /www/cgi-bin is linked to the right place. So the cgi-scripts are working. But the example project is broken, What I meant is that I would like to have a package that includes the sample porject. Maybe under the mapserver-doc. It is just a sugestion. Check out my server with the package and see how it runs. I would say only partially. I don't know the reason. My adress is http://134.2.155.77/ When people install a package like wordpress on debian they already have a wordpress running. The same would be nice for mapserver. To have a sample project running with just one apt-get distance. I think it would be a nice idea. Oz.
