"OpenJUMP is": should be omitted as this is implied (see Developer's Reference) "open source": this is Debian, so everything in main is "open source" "written in Java": users don't really care, at least in the synopsis. May be a mention in the long description That leaves use with: Geographic Information System (GIS) ....eventually even dropping capitals (This Is Not German..:-))... And Yes I Know Only Nouns Take Capitals In German) Maybe, then adding room for a few words about what makes OpenJUMP specific wrt other GIS....
