I've juste uploaded release 1.10.0-patch1+docs-1~exp3 to experimental, configured with: --with-default-plugindir=/usr/lib/$(DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH)/hdf5/plugins Could you please give it a try? Thanks, _g.
