Package: shellcheck
Version: 0.6.0-1
Severity: minor
File: /usr/bin/shellcheck
Dear maintainer,
https://github.com/koalaman/shellcheck/issues/1715
says
$ which shellcheck|xargs du -h
17M /usr/bin/shellcheck
is twice as big as upstream's.

As said in the upstream's bugreport:
"That's still pretty chunky of course, and the reason for this is that it
(like Debian's) bundles all relevant parts of the Haskell runtime and
library dependencies so you don't need to install those separately. This
makes sense because chances are that ShellCheck is the only Haskell tool on
the system, so there's nothing else over which to amortize the cost of a
generic runtime."
https://github.com/koalaman/shellcheck/issues/1715
There's nothing that could be done to reduce the size of the binary, so I'm
closing this bugreport.
If you'd like to point out some specific thing that could be done, feel
free to reopen this bugreport.
