Justification: breaks unrelated software
binutils is configured with --enable-default-hash-style=gnu since
version 2.43-1. Unfortunately, gold doesn't support the gnu hash-style
on MIPS, which means that gold is now broken on mips64el.
I have set the severity to critical, since GHC uses the gold linker on
mips64el, and this update breaks GHC on that architecture. As an
example, see the build logs for GHC itself [1]:
