Bug#895866: tomcat8: Errors thrown when connecting to default HTTP connector (localhost:8080)

Ubuntu imported tomcat8/8.5.31 just before the 18.04 release and Tomcat will 
not run with OpenJDK 8 there either. Will you be waiting for a new Tomcat 
release before re-compiling tomcat8 to work with OpenJDK 8, or can we schedule 
something sooner?
