Why not compile with --release 7 ? This way the generated bundle should work with java 7 and above, or am I missing something? My app is hit by this https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pdfsam/+bug/1781130 and users are currently forced to run it with openjdk 8 given it requires openjfx like we discussed here https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=886394 Andrea
