Package: java-package Version: 0.28 Severity: normal Dear java-package team,
IBM does not seem to distribute ibm-java2-sdk-50-linux-ppc.tgz anymore: it is superseded by ibm-java2-sdk-5.0-4.0-linux-ppc.tgz. However, just changing the name is not enough to use make-jpkg. I think that the file layout is not exactly the same between the two releases. Since we can not use the non-free SUN java on powerpc, and that IBM does not distribute the supported tgz anymore, I assume that the severity of this bug is normal, because the situation is a sort of regression. I hope that the fix can be backported (or better, uploaded) to Etch...
