hi i've been doing some license audit work for a release of one of the projects over at Apache. IMHO the JavaCC license is not compatible with the Debian Social Contract (see http://www.jroller.com/robertburrelldonkin/entry/javacc_version_4_0_is for reasoning). i'm going to raise the issue of the JavaCC license with the legal group at Apache (http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/www-legal-discuss/) but since JavaCC is packaged in main by Debian, i thought it worthwhile to highlight that you may have a possible issue.
