No, the eclipse uses the JVM 1.4.2 downloaded with the product and does not run the debug. If I decide to switch to another JVM it doesn't work. Actually, I found just one site on the web discussing this issue and suggesting that this is something related to network or firewall since the java debugger is handled using socket.
I have no idea regarding this sugestion, I mean if this is possible or not. Please take a look on this issue. Looking forward for a feedback.
