After looking at the issue closer I noticed jaxme does not work due to what appears to be a lot of missing methods in its Marshaller implementation. There is a new unreleased version of jaxme in their subversion repository that looks like it should compile with openjdk-6 but it now uses maven and I am not sure how to repackage jaxme to build with it properly.
