The latest upstream version required java 1.6 to build and run. This will limit the users to only using openjdk-6-jre or sun-java6-jre.
In my opinion, for now we should simply upload the experimental version to unstable. Another question that came to my mind is, do we really need versioned binaries? Is the 0.7 api not backwards compatible with 0.6? Please note that I have not taken a look at api, so if this is a foolish question please excuse me.
