Hi Onkar, First, try to get the latest versions of those 2 packages from Debian. There are also some new versions of related packages, I remember that there was maven-javadoc-plugin, maven-site-plugin, all doxia packages and maybe a few others. If you can synchronize them on Ubuntu Lucid, that would be great.
Second, to build the packaging for a Maven project, use mh_make on the sources, it will locate all the dependencies and create most of the debian files for you.
