Dear Maintainer,

The mh_patchpoms documentation (mh_patchpoms -h) says the mh_patchpoms options

-v --verbose: show more information while running

However, in practice, the -v and --verbose options have no effect. This appears
to be because the mh_patchpoms script passes -v to, and only recognises --verbose.

The attached patch modifies to accept either -v or
--verbose as options.
