As it has been the case for previous debian release and openssl 1.1.0,
last version of openssl (1.1.1) will require a breaking change in nodejs,
support of which is already postponed to nodejs 11.
Since nodejs 8 or 10 needs to be built against openssl 1.1.0, i tried the
static build.
However, there's a build error with gcc (not clang) when doing just that,
see
https://github.com/nodejs/node/issues/23195
I suppose it's some mistake in the deps/openssl gyp file, but there is no
error message so it's hard to get what could be wrong.
It'd be nice if anyone could help on this.
