Hi,

My motivation in updating npm was to be able use it with gitlab in stretch-backports. I was using npm to install yarn and then using yarn (npm's package-lock.json and yarn's yarn.lock is incompatible) for gitlab's node dependencies (hence gitlab in contrib).

Now yarn/yarnpkg is available in buster as a native package (thanks to Paolo) and in last upload to unstable gitlab switched to using yarn directly instead of npm. So I'm dropping myself from uploaders of npm. If anyone is interested to keep npm updated, you can jump in to maintain it now.

And for bullseye, I'd like to get rid of yarn dependency as well (and move gitlab back to main), but there is still a lot of dependencies unpackaged. Help is welcome there.

See https://wiki.debian.org/Javascript/Nodejs/Tasks/gitlab for current status.

Thanks
Praveen
