Package: libjs-chart.js Version: 3.9.1+~cs3.1.2-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
My webapp includes line charts to plot time series data. The charts work fine when the x values are simple integers (years), but when I use ISO8601 dates as strings, such as '2025-05-15', the chart is not plotted. Instead there's a red message stating "Error Loading Chart: This method is not implemented: Check that a complete date adapter is provided." Browsing various sites led me to understand that the current Chart.js no longer includes a date parser, but instead delegates this task to one of several adapters. The "awesome" pack (a collection of plugins for chart.js) lists several of the adapters at https://github.com/chartjs/awesome?tab=readme-ov- file#adapters and I suggest picking one of them and including it into the package. (Alternatively, maybe package the full awesome pack? That may be a larger task though.)
