As recent discussions (not so much here but) at [email protected]. have shown, there is more than one interpretation of DFSG §2. So stating in a policy for this team how team members "must" interpret Debian Policy is indeed more strict than Debian generally. I dearly appreciate your efforts trying to get this clarified, but believe Policy should be defined in Debian generally, not here specifically.
