I overlooked that. It's being solved by - adding a simpler api to 'ansi' module https://github.com/TooTallNate/ansi.js/pull/17 i am waiting a little to see if upstream accepts that patch or not - patching npm to get rid of ansicolors/ansistyles, this is easy once previous ansi patch is available.
