I've posted a script that helps performing these tasks (I've used it to update the copyright file of prettify.js): http://paste.debian.net/124110 This script is experimental and require libconfig-model-dpkg-perl. I'll eventually publish it in devscript or in libconfig-model-dpkg-perl.
