No worries for the severity, I don't wish to spend time discussing that
and any severity is fine as long as someone (maybe me) does the work.

Well, CDBS has been in my list of things to learn for a long time, so I
don't mind having a try. I do like the fact it's Make based, rather than
Perl (which I have a hard time reading).

BTW, do you think I should switch my other JavaScript packages to CDBS?
I've been using dh so far...
