Hi Maintainer
Since the upload of nodejs 8.9.3, node-tap has FTBFS [1] and
autopkgtests have been failing [2] with errors similar to the
following:
1) test/run.js parallel should be equal:

2) test/spawn.js timeout KILL should be equal:

I believe this is similar to the issue being discussed in #853035.
