Package: amarok
Version: 1.4.6-1+b1

When a music file is clicked in Konqueror and selected to open with
Amarok, the file is appended to the existing playlist in Amarok. If
this is supposed to be a new feature it is a very bad one.

Rather than disrupting/breaking the existing functionality of Amarok, wouldn't
it be wiser to create 2 file type associations for Amarok when it is
installed: one that opens a file in it normally (replacing the existing
playlist), and another that enqueues items (appends them to existing
playlist).

The enqueue option already exists with amarok --append %a so
changing the default behavior makes no sense.

When a song is clicked on in Konqueror, the user expects that file to open
immediately, not end up
at the bottom of a (possibly long) queue in the playlist.

The only benefit that has come out of this new change is that finally
items that are appended to the playlist queue are not added in random
order (see bug #417194). Oddly, when they are appened using the
--append %a option they still queue in random order :-(
