Package: amarok
Version: 1.4.9.1-2
Severity: wishlist
I currently store what amarok seems to be calling "labels" in the "tag"
metadata tag. It would be nice if amarok had some way to read/store
that data in the metadata.
I find "label" a rather confusing name for it. I assume that it's about
the record label, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Record_label
Which is not what you're using it for. It more seems to be a "tag",
which has a very simular meaning than "label". In any case, I don't
think "label" would be a good tag to use in the metadata, since it's
already being used to store the record label.
There is a plugin for picard that use lastfm tags and stores it in the
genre tag. But amarok only seems to be using the first one of those.
And all those tags really aren't a genre, but some are.
