Package: kvpnc
Version: 0.9.0-1
Severity: important

I use kvpnc to connect to a pptp server. I start it using kde's session
saving feature (ie. restore saved session on kde startup to get kvpnc
runing).

Through 'ps' I get the commandline for related processes are:
kdesu -u root -- kvpnc -session
101e92251c5f2000119112858700000040000009_1203742614_95508
kvpnc -session 101e92251c5f2000119112858700000040000009_1203742614_95508
/usr/sbin/pppd call kvpnc.127

kdesu is used so that pppd can make the call.

The problem is: when I shutdown (reboot/halt) with kde menu, kde won't
quit if kvpnc is still connected. That menu item won't show shutdown
dialog for another time, thinking it's already shutting down. In this
state I can still interact with X applications without a problem. And
kvpnc won't do the disconnection or shutdown, even if I explictely ask
it to do so.

It may be related to permissions, since kvpnc and pppd is run by root.

But this have not happend before. I encounter this problem only
rencently. And I don't remember the actual day (which update) it comes to.
