I made a new upload yesterday (7.1.0-2) for unrelated reasons and I would be
interested to hear your experience with it.

Using 7.1.0-1+b1, I was able to reproduce the same missing symbol error as you
reported. After the rebuild for -2, I do NOT get a missing symbol error.
However, scanning my database for faces does crash after some time (not
immediately as in -1+b1), but with a null pointer error that doesn't seem to
be related to opencv. I had also tested 7.1.0-1 (NOT +b1) when I first got
your note and it had similar behaviour -- crash with a null pointer. So I'm
not clear what is going on and would be interested to hear (a) if -2 still
crashes for you; and (b) if so, what is the stack trace?

Thank you,
-Steve
