Severity: important
When using digikam with an external (mysql/mariadb) database, the upgrade
can fail leading to digikam refusing to start.
This is due to a permission problems.
It can be workarounded/fixed by issuing the following mysql command:
set global log_bin_trust_function_creators=1;
I'm not sure of all the security implication (it does not matter for
me: I'm alone on the machine).
At minimal, a notice in /usr/share/doc/digikam/NEWS.Debian.gz would
be appreciated (and/or a better/more precise error message from digikam).
