When starting to seed a torrent, that is a torrent you have already downloaded or you created, ktorrent verifies the existing data, then reports to the tracker that it has downloaded that amount, even though you have not downloaded even a single byte. On trackers that maintain records of uploaded and downloaded bytes (roughly 100% of them), this is absolutely, positively unacceptable! Ktorrent needs to only report actual bytes downloaded from peers, and not claim already existing data was downloaded.
