Package: partitionmanager Version: 1.0.2-1 Severity: normal Tags: squeeze sid upstream
Partitionmanager does not change the partition type if you change the filesystem (e.g. format from ntfs to ext4). Only when changing NOT when delete and recreating the partition. see fdisk -l the ID column that shows the partition type (e.g. 7 for ntfs) I have reported that bug already upstream, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=263346 This report is only to track the bug on the Debian side. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686-bigmem (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages partitionmanager depends on: ii kdebase-runtime 4:4.4.5-1 runtime components from the offici ii libblkid1 2.17.2-5 block device id library ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.4.5-8 GCC support library ii libkdecore5 4:4.4.5-2 the KDE Platform Core Library ii libkdeui5 4:4.4.5-2 the KDE Platform User Interface Li ii libkio5 4:4.4.5-2 the Network-enabled File Managemen ii libparted0debian1 2.3-5 The GNU Parted disk partitioning s ii libqtcore4 4:4.6.3-4 Qt 4 core module ii libqtgui4 4:4.6.3-4 Qt 4 GUI module ii libstdc++6 4.4.5-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libuuid1 2.17.2-5 Universally Unique ID library partitionmanager recommends no packages.
