Package: network-manager-kde
Version: 1:0.9~svn1141976-1

The KNetworkManager (knetworkmanager) application crashes shortly
after the KDE desktop has started up, producing a segmentation fault.

Backtrace:

Application: KNetworkManager (knetworkmanager), signal: Segmentation fault
[KCrash Handler]
#6 0xb644349d in QDBusMessage::arguments() const () from /usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4 #7 0xb6474ee4 in QDBusPendingReplyData::argumentAt(int) const () from /usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4 #8 0xb707709d in NMDBusSettingsConnectionProvider::initConnections() () from /usr/lib/libknm_nm.so #9 0xb7077939 in NMDBusSettingsConnectionProvider::NMDBusSettingsConnectionProvider(ConnectionList*, QString const&, QObject*) () from /usr/lib/libknm_nm.so
#10 0x080548c7 in _start ()

This segfault occurs frequently, but not consistently.

Specific config info:

The workstation on which this problem occurs includes support for MIT Kerberos V, OpenLDAP and OpenAFS, with home directories residing on the network. IPv6 support with the wide-dhcpv6-client package is also installed. To this end, I've added the following to /etc/network/interfaces:

    auto eth0
    iface eth0 inet dhcp
            post-up /etc/init.d/wide-dhcpv6-client start
            pre-down /etc/init.d/wide-dhcpv6-client stop

Note that this configuration was added primarily to enable network login.

network-manager-kde (the tray application) no longer exists. Feel free to
reopen if you can reproduce this with plasma widget.
