--- Begin Message ---Package: network-manager-kde Version: 1:0.2~svn678822-3 Severity: normal When trying to connect my wireless card to an accesspoint using network-manager-kde and the ipw3945-modules it fails on obtaining IP-adress. This happens regardless if the network is encrypted or not. I can start the application just fine, and all accesspoints nearby is displayed, but trying to connect to one just times out. This is all I can get from the logs: Oct 24 11:48:28 debian dhcdbd: message_handler: message handler not found under /com/redhat/dhcp/eth1 for sub-path eth1.dbus.get.reason I have also tried building the latest ipw3945 module, it did not work, so I am now back to using the one in Debians repository. Linux wireless networking stack has been improved (and standartized) A LOT since then. I believe this specific problem should be fixed when you upgrade to squeeze. -- Modestas Vainius <mo...@debian.org>
