Dear Maintainer,

* What led up to the situation?

I recently updated my KDE desktop to plasma5 which entails a lot of changes, lots of things not working yet, including this one.
partitionmanager errors out saying that root password incorrect.
This is a false positive, root password is correct.
I tested it on other programs that depend on it, like Synaptic Package Manager.

I just launched partition manager from an icon in my desktop

A normal launch like in plasma4
