--- Begin Message ---Package: digikam Version: 4:4.14.0-4+b1 Severity: important Hello, after upgrading from 4.14.0-3 to 4.14.0-4 digikam isn't able to import from my camera (Nikon D7000) anymore. This is the same issue as I had previously (reported as bug #785492) back then with version 4:4.4.0-1.1+b1 and that disappeared with version 4:4.4.0-1.1+b2. The symptom is that I can click on "Import" -> "Cameras" -> "NIKON NIKON DSC D7000 (auto-detected)" but it doesn't open the import window. What the new version prints to stdout (or stderr; didn't check) is " digikam(4565)/digikam (core): Failed to detect camera with GPhoto2 from Solid information " This works after a downgrade to version 4.14.0-3 of digikam, digikam-data, digikam-private-libs, kipi-plugins, kipi-plugins-common.
