Hello:

  Regarding the bug you reported, I think that you used kvpnc the wrong way. 
It looks it needs root permissions, but just doing "su" and running it from a 
console will fail due to a number of reasons unless you are aware of the 
implications of doing so.

  In my humble opinion, you should stick to giving root password to kvpnc or 
using an alternative method for running it as root.

  Having said all this, I would say this is not really a bug. If you agree 
with me feel free to comment it out and eventually send an email to 
629...@bugs.debian.org in order to close this bug.
