Package: digikam
Version: 4:5.3.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the digikam version currenlty included in Stretch (4:5.3.0-1) consistently crashes when trying to apply red eye reduction to an image. This behaviour is known upstream and is fixed in version 5.4 according to

Would it be possible to upgrade Stretch's digikam to 5.4.* -- or even backport 4:5.6.0* from testing/unstable?

Thanks a lot --
