Hi Sandro, thanks for your emails, let me comment on a few items: - concerning changelog formats, you might have seen that all the *new* MR contain the changelog in the format described by the KDE/Qt packaging policy. I refrained from force-pushing all the frameworks. Apps and Plasma have correct changelog entries. - You said that the packages "are not even buildable": I can assure you, they build, since quite some time, otherwise I couldn't have them on my computer and several others, too. Check the build status on OBS, if you want confirmation. - bumping release: You might have not have checked enough, but I have updated all the B-D in Plasma and KDE Apps to the versions specified in the CMakeList.txt. - Concerning Apps 20.04.1: That was a failure of my side not having pushed the branch to my clone. They are now there. Then you can check that I actually checked each single package and updated the dependencies according to CMakeList.xt, despite your claims that I only bump dependencies. - Concerning commits that only bumps changelog: So what should be done if nothing else is necessary? Things don't materialize out of nothing!
I am not playing games with you or the the team, I am trying to get uptodate KDE/Plasma into Debian, and I have done lot of hand work and manually checking files. If you are not interested in it, this is up to you. And claiming that I don't follow the rules is again incorrect, all new MR have chnagelog format according to your rules. Please remain reasonable. Finally, I have to say, it seems you have a different agenda then updating KDE/Plasma, otherwise why would you bring up dovecot here? This is a completely unrelated topic. And on a side note, I maintain enough packages, and wanted updates of dovecot on **buster**, which will not happen even if I update dovecot in unstable. So please, leave this kind of decision to me, and **not** try to deduce some bad intentions, only because you seem not to like what I do. Anyway, feel free to take and leave whatever you need.
