Hi, I thought Apper was a Qt/KDE Team package. It's technically not, but I've not had success contacting the maintainers (mails attached). I wonder if someone could commit and/or sponsor my fixes [1]? It lets Apper drop an old transitional package, adds a patch for a crash addressed in the BTS, and enables building with Qt 5.14.

--- Begin Message ---Hi, Apper has an old transitional dependency on polkit-kde-1. I've sent a merge request to fix this and another issue and was wondering if you could take a look at it? https://salsa.debian.org/pkgutopia-team/apper/-/merge_requests/1 Sincerely, John Scott

--- Begin Message ---Hi, Apper's dependency on polkit-kde-1 has been an RC bug for a little while, and I was wondering if you were still active maintaining it? I've been preparing fixes in my own Salsa repo [1] thinking it was under the Qt/KDE team's umbrella, but do not want to hijack it. If you're still active and this merely flew under the radar, you can sponsor what I've got prepared. If I do not here back from you in a while, or you don't do uploads anymore, I might add other improvements and then ask a sponsor for an NMU. [1] https://salsa.debian.org/jscott0/apper
