Hi Patrick,

In the latest release of kdenlive [1] and KDE Applications [2] kdenlive has
become an official KDE application, as such, it would be nice to join efforts
and to maintain it under the Qt/KDE Team umbrella. We are currently joining
efforts with the Kubuntu Team, trying to keep the KDE frameworks, plasma and
applications packages up to date in experimental (that would be in unstable
after the jessie release).

We use git.debian.org/pkg-kde repositories to coordinate the efforts, and have
a couple of extra vendor-release specific branches, if you are interested in
maintaining kdenlive as part of the team please join #debian-qt-kde at
irc.debian.org and we'll try to find a workflow that fits all of us.

What do you think?
