Package: xul-ext-cookie-monster
Version: 1.2.5-1
Severity: normal

Hello!

First of all, thanks for maintaining this very useful extension
in Debian.

Unfortunately, I noticed a regression after:
[UPGRADE] xul-ext-cookie-monster:amd64 1.2.0-1 -> 1.2.5-1

The extension is no longer able to show the cookies for one given
site or for all sites.
If I select View Cookies → Show Cookies for All Sites, I get
a window where the following error message is shown:

| XML Parsing Error: undefined entity
|  Location: chrome://cookiemonster/content/siteCookies.xul
|  Line Number 102, Column 7:
|
|        <button id="removeSelectedCookies" disabled="true" icon="clear"
|  ------^

The same error message is shown, if I select View Cookies → Show
Cookies for example.com.

Please fix this bug and/or forward my report upstream.
Note that I am using the iceweasel version currently in Debian stretch.

Thanks for your time!
Bye.

After:
[UPGRADE] iceweasel:amd64 31.6.0esr-1 -> 38.0.1-1
the issue is gone.

Hence, this regression seems to be essentially an backward-incompatible
change in xul-ext-cookie-monster (1.2.0-1 -> 1.2.5-1) due to some
backward-incompatible change in iceweasel (31.6.0esr-1 -> 38.0.1-1).
Once the new versions of both packages are installed in the system, the
issue vanishes.

I am therefore closing this bug report.

Bye.
