Please separate commits of manual edits from automated ones.

Both commits are manual edits. I didn't run in DEB_AUTO_UPDATE_DEBIAN_CONTROL mode. While I like this feature, I considered it unnecessary just for a version bump.

Anyway, if it helps you (or whoever might benefit from it), I'll not commit tweaks to control and control.in at the same time anymore.

I reacted more on the principle than actual need. But yeah, I would prefer to keep it separate always, if you don't mind.

If you are not interested in messing with CDBS, then please simply avoid messing with that .in file at all - leave that for others to re-apply the changes there later. :-)

Au contraire, I think control.in is the place to edit. What can be
generated should be generated, and I had a couple of "regenerate
control" commits in the past.

(that particular remark was targeted other readers than you)

I just have to quit being lazy and let cdbs take care of debian/control.

:-)

...and I should be more lazy and not complain about every single commit.

(I didn't comment on your commiting a bumped empty changelog entry)
