I suggest that if When someone edits debian/control where debian/control.in exist too, I suggest to just remind the committer of _optionally_ editing debian/control.in (instead, not both together).

...and if then the committer choose to continue ignore debian/control.in then go in afterwards and syncronize yourself.


That way, I believe, we better respect both believers and non-believers of CDBS semi-auto dependency-resolving.
