From my earlier conversation about Cosimo about these packages, it gets worse. They don't even set the SONAME:

Debian wants /usr/lib/ to be a link to
/usr/lib/ (or whatever the SONAME and major version is).

First problem, the .so files are created not versioned.
Second problem, I do not see any SONAME with objdump, but I might be
mistaken I gave a quick look at it.

I propose to upload them to experimental until we sort out the SONAME
problem with upstream, either understand if they want to add a SONAME or it's actually their intention to leave the library without (which would
be difficult for us to keep compatibility when API/ABI changes).
