There were a few things that were in my mind, primarily around writing portable code: * Detect the presence of the 10 bit version in a configure.ac (the version number won't tell you this) * Retrieve the location to dlopen() from (will every distro put it in the same place?) Anyway - maybe I'm getting ahead of myself and simply having the 10 bit version available is good enough. I'm very happy that it now builds in the official package.
