This seems rather unmaintained. No Debian updates since 2009, with patches sitting in their bug queue. No upstream releases since 2003.
Additionally, we have an alternative already in main: libxml-libxml- perl. There's even a Debian bug about migrating from xpath-perl to libxml-perl: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=458713 Can we just do the same for libvirt? I'd really like to avoid adding a duplicate, deprecated xml parser to main. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #458713 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=458713 ** Changed in: libxml-xpath-perl (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: libxml-xpath-perl (Ubuntu) Assignee: Michael Terry (mterry) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Debian Perl Group, which is subscribed to libxml-xpath-perl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1418999 Title: [MIR] libxml-xpath-perl To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libxml-xpath-perl/+bug/1418999/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~pkg-perl-maintainers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~pkg-perl-maintainers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
